Visual Research

Definition:
Looking at visual references, examples and looking for visual inspiration that fits whit in my project.

I try to find this visual by looking at:
pictures by simply googling for things with a specific theme or going on pintrest and looking there. Or I look at examples I already know that I think fit the project for example for this project with making the game I already thought of games to reference and look at as inspiration.

Other times I would just go trough my folders of saved imaged I have found earlier and saved because I liked them to find some inspiration for a project.

Then next I would visual analysis the pictures:
Sometimes by just looking at them to look what works and what not other times quickly redraw something and change it a bit to see what works and why something looks like that and if it could work better for me in another way or not.

Visual research is defiantly the way I do most of my researches I´m a very visually driven person. I should try to do more other types of research with projects aswel. But I do really like making moodboard, looking for images only finding games/animations/ or other projects and then looking into those projects to get inspiration.
